Puerto Morelos

Few kms away from Playa Del Carmen is located the village of Puerto Morelos and its magnificent wreck.

This small village shelters in its waters the ship C56, former property of the American army, measuring 50 meters long and admirably preserved since its intentional immersion in 2000.

The wreck resting at a depth of 30m, this dive is reserved to divers with a level 2 or equivalent (advanced). It also offers the possibility for the most daring divers to pass through the vessel. In terms of marine life, it is common to observe a school of eagle rays progressing around the area.

A few meters away from the wreck stands an animated reef. The 2nd dive is usually made there to explore the wonders that surround this underwater relic.
