Booking and cancellation terms
Essential information for organising your activity with Remi Diving Mexico.
Request and confirmation
Submitting the form is a request for availability and does not constitute automatic confirmation. Your booking becomes final once Remi Diving Mexico has provided written confirmation specifying the activity, date, number of participants, price and any special conditions.
Prices and payment
Confirmed prices are stated in Mexican pesos. For regular activities, no deposit or advance payment is required. Payment is made according to the arrangements stated in the booking confirmation.
Cozumel exception: advance payment may be required to secure places with the operator or boat. The amount and payment method will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
Cancellation by the participant
Cancellations must be communicated in writing as soon as possible. A Cozumel trip may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time. After this deadline, amounts already committed to service providers may be retained or remain payable.
For activities without advance payment, no refund is required. However, in the event of a late cancellation or no-show, Remi Diving Mexico may request reimbursement of non-recoverable costs incurred specifically for the booking, provided these costs were disclosed beforehand.
Weather, safety and changes
Safety always comes first. An activity may be rescheduled, adapted or cancelled because of the weather, sea conditions, a site closure, a decision by the authorities or any condition that makes diving unsuitable. An alternative date or equivalent activity may be offered. When a prepaid activity is cancelled and no acceptable alternative is available, the amount corresponding to the service not provided will be refunded, excluding any clearly disclosed, non-recoverable third-party costs.
Participation requirements
- Follow all safety instructions and directions given by the instructor or guide.
- Provide accurate information about your certification level, experience and anything relevant to safety.
- Present the required certification for activities reserved for certified divers.
- Do not dive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or in any condition incompatible with the activity.
A medical questionnaire or medical clearance may be required depending on the activity and applicable standards. Remi Diving Mexico may refuse or stop a participant from taking part when safety requirements are not met.
Late arrival and no-show
Boat departure and site-access times may be strict. Late arrival may shorten the activity or make participation impossible. The participant must notify Remi Diving Mexico immediately so that a solution can be considered, although rescheduling cannot be guaranteed.
Photos, videos and personal belongings
When photos or videos are offered, their production depends on the conditions and cannot be guaranteed. Publication for promotional or communication purposes requires the consent of any identifiable person. Each participant remains responsible for their personal belongings.
Contact and disputes
For any question, change or cancellation, contact informations@remidivingmexico.com. If a disagreement arises, both parties will first seek an amicable solution.
